Jones Sugarfree Energy Drink Review

I'm headed out of town, but didn't want to leave you guys without any new energy drink reviews so I'm doling out a bunch today. Let's just call it Sugar Free Energy Drink Day. To start off we have one of my all time favorites sugar free version, Jones Energy Sugar Free. Jones was one of the original energy drinks to have that unique berry flavor and I'm hoping they come up with it again. They've modified the can from the orange to use a light blue color. Since I originally reviewed Jones they've released a black can, but I haven't seen if they have a new one for the Sugar Free version. The 16 oz. can looks pretty good though the baby blue is a little pale for my tastes.

When I pop the top, I get that classic Jones berry smell and I forgot just how good it is. Jones SF is a golden pineapple in color. It has a rich taste with lots of that artificial blue raspberry flavor and a small amount of tartness. There's the barest hint of gumminess and bitterness, but this by far the best sugarfree one I've tried yet. Part of you knows its sugar free but the other part doesn't so it is accessible to the non-diet drinkers out there. They blend the artificial sweeteners in well. Ir only it was more widely available, I had trouble finding this guy. So stock up when you see it.

Jones does a good job on the ingredients with taurine as the number 3 ingredient. They also include caffeine, inositol, acesulfame K, sucralose, B Vitamins, and CoQ. For a sugar free version this did a great job of perking me up and I will be buying it in bulk when I can find it.
