Arizona Extreme Energy Shot Low Carb Review

Arizona is one of the major energy drink producers but I haven't tried too many of their flavors. Their cans just haven't been too interesting to lure me to try them. I figured it was finally time and for that reason I have bought Arizona Extreme Shot Low Carb. This is basically a low carb version of Arizon'a Extreme Energy Shot and trades in the yellow caution markings for white ones while keeping the same 16 oz. can. The white can definitely looks cleaner but doesn't give the same sense of urgency and extremeness that the original does.

The color of the drink is a little different than the original Energy Shot. It's more transparent but still has that orangina look to it. In taste it's like a poor man's Adrenaline Rush. That comes across as a bland grapefruit drink with some mango and pear thrown in. It's not a very impressive drink, certainly not as good as the original Energy Shot and comes across as very bland. If you're looking for a juice like sugar free drink, you should probably pass on this one and go with NOS Sugar Free instead.

The ingredients also follow the original Energy Shot though they have removed most of the sugar. Ingredients are impressive with carbonated water, sucrose, taurine, d-ribose, l-carntine, guarana, inositol, panax ginseng, caffeine, glucuronolactone, beta carotene, sucralose, Vitamin C, milk thisle, gum acacia, and B Vitamins. Low Carb Energy Shot gave a ton of energy. I'd say this is one of the more powerful "diet" energy drinks out there.
