I am trying the second flavor of Bodywell's E2 Voltage, their lemonade flavor. I had a good experience with the Orange flavor and am now back to trying this sweet black bottled elixir. E2 Voltage is powerful and is geared towards the workout crowd. Although I can't say I'm in the best shape, I do go for a run and lift on occasion so I took this opportunity to review E2 Voltage during one of my infrequent workouts. The black plastic bottle is great since you can just throw it into your bag and not worry about breakage. Like any good piece of equipment, E2 Voltage is tough and looks good. Those are keys for me when I hit the gym.
E2 Voltage has a pretty good tasting lemonade. It's on the sweet side and it took me a moment to realize it was created with all artificial sweeteners. I liked how the sweetness fit into the overall lemon flavor. There's an upfront tartness to it, but it's not really sour throughout. Even though no sugar is used the flavor is very rich like a good lemonade. It has a full body and robust thickness to it that fit in well with the lemonade. So far E2 Voltage is 2 out of 2 on flavors I have tried.
I would say that E2 Voltage Lemonade definitely helped with my workout. I drank the drink in the locker room 30 minutes before my workout. I took my sweet time getting ready since I had to look good. The combo of beta alanine, phosphatidylserine, alpha GPC, rhodiola rosea, gingko, and caffeine produce the effect. It kicked in easily in the 30 minute window when I was preening and helped me with my lifting and endurance run. I felt focused and seemed to have more stamina and strength than usual. Voltage could be a synonym for power and e2 definitely brings that to the table.

Cascabel Sugar Free Energy Drink Review
With Cascabel Sugar Free Energy Drink, I recall my experience of the original Cascabel Energy Drink by Don Humberto. I was not favorably impressed back then, but decided that I would give the sugar free version of the beverage a try. I still appreciate the rattlesnake branding of Cascabel Sugar Free and think that a snake is an under appreciated energy drink mascot (dang, why can't I find Cobra Energy Drink). Rattlesnakes are renowned for the bite and my first experience with Cascabel showed that the flavor sure did bite. I'm hoping the Sugar Free version can step it up.
Cascable Sugar Free Energy Drink has the classic yellow energy drink color. The taste reminds me of those candies made by Willy Wonka, Runts. They were little hard fruit shaped candies that had a distinctive sweet-sour flavor. Cascabel Sugar Free specifically reminds me of the lime ones with a dull sourness. I actually like the sugar free version better than the regular because the sweetness is a little more tame even if it tastes kind of artificial. This isn't your average energy drink flavor, but is worth trying for a change of pace.
Another thing I remembered about Cascabel was the crazy ingredient list. Cascabel Sugar Free has the same list, but trades in the sugar for sucralose as an artificial sweetener and has only 10 calories. That makes the list of ingredients Vitamin C, B Vitamins, 1100 mg taurine, l-carnitine, gingko, caffeine, guarana, green tea, inositol, glucuronolactone, MPS, Oat Beta Glucan, MSM, CoQ-10, siberian ginseng, and sucralose. I felt like the boost was a little above average, but nothing outstanding. I had hoped for more given the ingredient list. I would say this snake will translate into about 4 hours of energy, which is decent for an 8 ounce drink. However, you don't really get a great peak of energy and just have an average rush that seems to last a decent amount of time. It's too bad all those ingredients just aren't working for Cascabel Sugar Free.

Archer Wild Berry Energy Drink Review
This is the first of the new Archer 12 ounce cans I am reviewing. Target has revamped the Archer line with the slimmer bullet cans and added several new flavors. The logo and overall design remain consistent with the previous flavor I reviewed months ago. There are so many private label drinks out there now that it is hard to keep up and review all of them, but I am trying. Wild Berry seems to be an increasingly popular flavor so be on the lookout for these.
Based on the Red Bull like bright yellow green color I thought this would be a berry tinged Red Bull Clone. Boy was I wrong. Archer has really done something different with their Wild Berry flavor, it tastes very different from other drinks. A nice subdued sweetness merges with sweet berries. It almost seems like you are getting the flavor of berries with cream and the mix is a melding of strawberry, blueberry and boysenberry. The drink really seems to burst with flavor and has almost no sourness to it, a departure from many other berry drinks. I tried Full Speed Berry a few weeks ago and thought it was good, but this really buries it on flavor.
Archer Wild Berry contains 150 calories and 36 grams sugar so definitely won't overwhelm you on the caloric front. I would say that the boost is pretty mild compared to many of the other energy drinks I try. I was kind of disappointed based on the weak kick. It didn't wake me up much and certainly didn't fill me with energy. Checking the energy ingredients backs up my claim since there is only Vitamin C, B Vitamins, ginseng, 70 mg caffeine, guarana, 10 mg taurine and sucralose. One wonders why they even bother with taurine at 10 mg. Trust me that level certainly does nothing for you. At least Archer Wild Berry is good on taste, but I still have 4 more flavors to try and the results on kick are not promising.

CL5 Energy Drink Review
Carmelo Anthony's CL5 Energy Drink brings the first basketball player to sponsor an energy drink. We have race car drivers and wrestlers, why not a basketball player. If I had to pick a basketball player I would have though Shaq would be first. There's actually two now that Rip Hamilton is repping Rip It Energy Drink. The can for CL5 is not a good one. It's not that I don't like Melo's handsome face on the can, but I think the baby blue background is not doing him justice or making the design seem bold enough. Time to throw this puppy down like a Melo dunk.
CL5 Energy Drink is a cross between lemon lime Gatorade and Mountain Dew. If that sounds good, then don't rush out and buy this since it's a little off. Why? Because this is very heavy on the corn syrup and is consequently way too thick. The taste is decent, but it could use a little more bite and carbonation. It seems too flat on several dimensions. Still CL5 is better than I thought and many will like it, but is just nothing special. I have always respected Carmelo Anthony's game and know he can produce a better product than this.
CL5 is not a drink for athletes. The energy drink starts off with 120 calories and 30 grams of sugar from an HFCS source. Then comes the good stuff: taurine, citric acid, glucuronolactone, caffeine, inositol, gum acacia, ester gum, and B Vitamins. The kick was about average. It's just what you would expect, but doesn't give you a lot more than that. I got a little jittery, so no hoops after drinking this, and had a rapid energy spike before crashing down several hours later. Come on Melo, you're one of the best athletes in the world I expected more on the ingredients and energy buzz. Big thanks to Big Red Boots for sending this in for me.

Shark Lite Energy Drink Review
Here is Shark Lite Energy Drink straight from Europe. I got hooked up big time with a bunch of energy drinks by a buddy named Giovanni and Shark Lite is my first one to review. Shark Lite is of course the sugar free version of Shark Energy Drink which I have previously reviewed. The can has been made a little more interesting with more dynamism and color, but still retains the Shark logo which is pretty unique. I don't know why they chose green as the primary color for the lite Shark since it has nothing to do with sharks, but why guess. Like almost all Continental European Energy Drinks the can is the bullet 250 ml, 8 ounce with a small pop top.
Shark Lite is your classic Red Bull Clone. To my palette it does seem better than the original Shark, maybe it's because I got this one straight from Europe where everything is better. Shark Lite Energy has the classic apple grape gumminess, but overlays some orange juice flavor on top of that. There's a front loaded sweetness with a little tang that goes with the orange juice flavor. If you have ever mixed apple and orange juice this is somewhat similar although it still has the bubble gum flavor to it common in RB clones. Overall I find Shark Lite a little too sweet with some pointed bitterness coming at the end of the flavor.
While the Shark is a ferocious animal, Shark Lite Energy Drink is not the choice for a ferocious energy drink. Shark Lite did give me a boost but it was by no means a major pick me up. I got about 3 hours of medium level energy from Shark, hardly befitting of the strong name. I expected more from this 13 calorie, 2.9 carb drink. The ingredients are B Vitamins, taurine, glucuronolactone, acesulfame potassium, salt, inositol, natrium saccharin, guarana, and choline. Because of the saccharin I'm going to slap the dubious ingredient tag on this baby.

Burn Instinct Energy Drink Review
I had Burn Energy Drink on a trip to France, but had never seen or heard of Burn Instinct. Burn Instinct is Coke's new line extension to Burn. Because Burn was my favorite energy drink found in Europe at the time I am excited to try this. It still has a nice attractive 8 ounce can, but the look is a little less clean and more busy. Still it hands down beats any of Coke's Full Throttle Energy Drink cans and is superior to Mother Energy, so it's already a runaway success in the looks department, but I also aim to evaluate the taste and energy kick.
This is one of the most delicious energy drinks I have had in a long time. Burn Instinct has a combination of grenadine and orange at its base. There's a ginger zing that mixes with a maraschino cherry into a perfect harmony for your mouth. A truly perfect amount of sweetness run through it. It leaves a spicy tingle on your lips and throat that qualify Burn Instinct as a sensation drink in my book. This is a really excellent drink and the best I have tried from Coca Cola, in fact I am going to add it to my top ten taste list.
Each can of Burn Instinct has 38 grams of sugar and 158 calories. France until recently outlawed taurine so there is no taurine in Burn Instinct. Instead there's ginseng, guarana, ginger, sugar, citric acid and 80 mg of caffeine. The buzz you get from this is solid and definitely adequate to wake you up and get your internals humming. Burn Instinct won't knock your socks off, but does give enough energy for the average consumer. You can count on this to boost you without a spike and not overload you. While not the most powerful energy drink from Europe it may be the best tasting.

LiftOff Energy Drink Orange Review
There aren't many effervescent energy tablets on the market and LiftOff Energy (made by Herbalife) has long been the leader. Today I review LiftOff Orange Energy Drink sent in by http://www.lifefood.co.uk . LiftOff comes in a small packet like Alka Seltzer, which is nice since it can easily fit in your pocket or wallet. The logo and design are well done being unique, while still interesting and appealing. After tearing open the little pouch you see an Alka Seltzer sized tablet that you simply drop into another beverage for an effervescent effect. I drop LiftOff Orange Energy Drink into the water and watch to see what happens.
It's always fun watching the tablet fizz up in the water. My water quickly turns into a light orange color. A full orange flavor develops from LiftOff that comes as cross between Orange Juice and Orangina. It's not very sweet at all but has a ripe tartness that won't have you cringing from an overwhelming sourness. Instead the tartnesss provides a nice contrast to the flavor and allows it to be pleasing even without the sweetness. LiftOff Orange has a little mineral character to it that is not uncommon with effervescent drinks. It has a nice mouth feel and sits well in the palette and stomach. Served ice cold the orange flavor is coolly refreshing without any kind of bitterness or gumminess like other energy drinks.
I like that LiftOff Energy comes in a small package with only 10 calories. Add to that a medium sized boost that is completely jitter free and you have an energy drink that appeals to the mainstream. The boost is very flat in that it contains no spike and won't have your energy level changing constantly. Instead you get constant energy for about 4 hours. The boost is powered by Vitamin C, B Vitamins, maltodextrin, taurine, caffeine, guarana, inostiol, sorbitol, acesulfame potassium, and sucralose. I enjoyed the steady, medium sized boost and taste from LiftOff Orange Energy Drink and think the effervescent quality makes it quite unique.

Olé Energy Drink Review
Olé, Olé. It's a familiar soccer chant meaning "let's go". In my mind symbolizes victory and is perfect for an energy drink. Olé Energy Drink brings the concept to the energy market with a drink designed to be victorious over fatigue. Olé brings the familiar ADX7 energy boosting technology to their energy drink. ADX7 is a mix of adaptogenic herbs designed to improve performance, help with stress, and stimulate the metabolism all with no crash. I really like the can for Olé which is simple, but good looking and powerful. Anytime you go simple with black and red, odds are it is going to look clean and sleek.
Olé Energy looks like a Red Bull Clone, but is anything but. Olé gets some major props for coming up with a unique flavor that has never been done before. The flavor is rich orange with notes of lemon. I like how the flavor stays rich, but shallow by not penetrating with an over tartness. Instead there is a sour aspect to it that stays on the tip of your tongue. Overlaid with the orange is a back note of peach and a little apricot that add some complexity. The sweetness is mild, but adds some minerality to the flavor to leave a clean feeling on your palette. No bitterness or crazy flavors here.
In my past experiences I have not had great energy boosts from ADX7, but for some reason this time was different. Olé Energy Drink kicked in with a powerful boost and lived up to its promises with no crash. I liked the adaptogenic boost which to me feels very different than the other energy rushes I have had. It's more balanced and less extreme although still strong. Olé Energy accomplishes this with the following ingredients: eleuthero, schizandra, aralia mashurica, rhaponticum carthamoides, rhodiola rosea, B Vitamin Complex, L-carnitine, L-glutamine, taurine, glucuronolactone, caffeine, and electrolytes. This is a great energy drink from concept to execution and has well earned the name Olé.

Elements Venom Energy Drink Review
Elements Venom is the last Elements! It feels like the end of an era. Elements have been a mixed bag. Subzero and Fire were awesome easy drinking energy drinks, while the others featured pretty marginal flavors. This time Elements Venom is up. It uses the same type of can-bottle hybrid with a pea green color scheme. The symbol on the bottle is two fangs which look kind of stupid without a mouth to house them. Venom is a cool name for the drink, but does add confusion with the Venom Energy Drink. And really how many people want to drink a beverage where the name is a synonym for poison.
Elements Venom looks like lime aid in color, and has a similar color to Lime Wrecker or Jolt Ultra. It tastes like a very sweet lime aid. Unfortunately there is no bite, no sourness which conflicts with the name. It is refreshing kind of like a sweet lemonaid on a hot day, but without some sourness to contrast with the flavor becomes just too sweet and syrupy for everyday consumption. I could probably have it every once in awhile, but like Lime Wrecker better for a lime drink. Venom is definitely better than the last Elements I tried and is probably the third best Elements after Fire and Subzero.
The ingredients match the other products in the line. There's HFCS, ginseng, caffeine, taurine, gum acacia, and B Vitamins. The kick wasn't much but was a minor boost which is solid from a fruity drink. I still can't get passed the name since Venom is not appropriate in a sweet drink with no bite; they should take a page from Boo Koo Bite if they want to keep the name. As usual the Elements drink had a question top to their bottle. It asks: does it take more intelligence to run a Fortune 500 company or govern a country. The answer is clearly neither... it takes way more too write an energy drink blog though.

Stinger Chronic Cola Energy Review
With the last of the Elements reviewed the other day I thought it was time to hit another last, the last of the Stinger drinks. Really the only truly great Stinger to date has been the Enraged Raspberry, the others have ranged from mediocre to truly awful (Pounding Punch). I thought it would be interesting to try Stinger Chronic Cola and compare it to some of the other cola drinks I've tried. First off is the name, Chronic Cola. It's a great name and really gives you the sense of being wired on energy for a long time. There's nothing like that chronic feeling when you're getting delirious at 5:30 AM. Gotta love that when your buzz has carried you through the whole night. Chronic Cola comes in the classic 8 oz. can and has the same can as the other Stinger drinks, but in red to remind you of Coke. The can looks pretty good, but any cola fan will tell you it's really too small.
Chronic Cola has that classic brown, caramel color of cola. In a glass you probably couldn't tell the difference between it, Coke, Rockstar Cola, Fukola, or Pepsi. The taste is a different story. Chronic Cola is like drinking flat Pepsi. There's not really enough cola bite and more syrup than the classic vanilla flavor in other colas. It's just not interesting too sweet and kind of bland cola. I'd rather stick with Pepsi Energy X, Rockstar Cola or for something a little different, Fukola or Monster Assault.
The ingredients are a obviously an improvement on normal Coke and Pepsi since there are energy ingredients. I also like the fact that they exclude phosphates or phosphoric acid like most other colas. Those ingredients are horrible for your bones, and we all know what happens when your bone fails. The relevant ingredient list includes: HFCS, caffeine, taurine, Vitamin C, B Vitamins, yerba mate, guarana, and ginseng. The kick was pretty good for a cola and definitely kept me up way into the early morning. I got that chronic feeling but just not in heavy doses. I suppose it makes an okay mixer with some jack or rum, but I'd rather stick with Rockstar Cola for that, though bartenders might like the smaller can.

Powerade Advance Cherry Lime Energy Drink
You know what's worse than having a serious cough? Having to drink that thick cough medicine to make it go away. That stuff tastes nasty, like rotten cherries mixed with maple syrup and a little menthol to round it out. I'd be lying if I said that's what I thought the new Powerade Advance Cherry Lime was going to taste like it. It doesn't even look like cough syrup in the large plastic bottle. The last Powerade Advance I tried was probably the best yet of the "water like", refresher energy beverages. It gave me hope that Cherry Lime might be a thirst quenching version of a Shirley Temple.
Cherry Lime Powerade Advance looks good with a bright red color that is completely translucent and non sparkling. However as I alluded to earlier, this stuff tastes like cherry cough syrup. It really has the same flavor but without the syrupy thickness. Imagine taking cough syrup and diluting it with a bunch of water and there you have Powerade Advance Cherry Lime. It does have a slightly sour flavor from the lime with a bit of bitterness like when you get a piece of the lime peel in your corona. I definitely winced while drinking this. Stick with the Berry flavor of Powerade Advance or if you are looking for a cherry drink, the SoBe Superman.
The ingredients aren't much to like. There's HFCS, maltodextrin, taurine, salt, caffeine, carnitine, sucralose, and B Vitamins. There was a noticeable energy boost over classic Powerade or Gatorade, but where this drink really shines is as a hangover cure. Normally after I night of pounding shots, I have two Gatorades waiting in the fridge. But with my few test runs, this does a great job of fending off a hangover. The B Vitamins, salt and water help get your body back to equilibrium while the caffeine and taurine give you some much needed energy. It really is a life-saver for those mornings where your head won't stop pounding and any light hurts.

Jones Sugarfree Energy Drink Review
I'm headed out of town, but didn't want to leave you guys without any new energy drink reviews so I'm doling out a bunch today. Let's just call it Sugar Free Energy Drink Day. To start off we have one of my all time favorites sugar free version, Jones Energy Sugar Free. Jones was one of the original energy drinks to have that unique berry flavor and I'm hoping they come up with it again. They've modified the can from the orange to use a light blue color. Since I originally reviewed Jones they've released a black can, but I haven't seen if they have a new one for the Sugar Free version. The 16 oz. can looks pretty good though the baby blue is a little pale for my tastes.
When I pop the top, I get that classic Jones berry smell and I forgot just how good it is. Jones SF is a golden pineapple in color. It has a rich taste with lots of that artificial blue raspberry flavor and a small amount of tartness. There's the barest hint of gumminess and bitterness, but this by far the best sugarfree one I've tried yet. Part of you knows its sugar free but the other part doesn't so it is accessible to the non-diet drinkers out there. They blend the artificial sweeteners in well. Ir only it was more widely available, I had trouble finding this guy. So stock up when you see it.
Jones does a good job on the ingredients with taurine as the number 3 ingredient. They also include caffeine, inositol, acesulfame K, sucralose, B Vitamins, and CoQ. For a sugar free version this did a great job of perking me up and I will be buying it in bulk when I can find it.

Diet Rockstar Energy Drink Review
You have to like the fact that Rockstar doesn't shy away from calling their drink "diet". None of that no/low sugar nonsense or even low carb. They came out with diet and it works well for them. The 16 oz. can is an update of the classic Rockstar look which is present in Juiced and Cola varieties as well. The white looks really clean and is a better can in my opinion than the normal black can. Rockstar has been around for so long that I've taken it for granted, but we'll see how well it holds up now that I've tried hundreds of energy drinks. Will it still be the Star of the Party with all this new competition?
Diet Rockstar has the classic energy drink color common to 70% of the drinks out there, that dark apple juice color. When you taste it your first thought is wow, they did a job of making this not taste sugar free at all. But then you drink a little bit more and you think the flavor is so great. As much as I like Rockstar the flavor seems a little dated and just doesn't do as well when you aren't mixing it with alcohol. It's not really sweet, has a tinge of bitterness, and relives that classic energy drink flavor though it's not as gummy as many others. Diet Rockstar starts to remind me of a Keith Richards or Mick Jagger with its flavor. It's past its prime and time to move on. There's plenty of other diet drinks out there so the main reason to stick with Rockstar Diet is if you're a Rockstar fanatic or if you'll be mixing it.
Diet Rockstar excels on the ingredients. There's taurine, maltodextrin, guarana, Vitamin C, caffeine, acesulfame K, sucralose, l-carnitine, inositol, milk thistle, gingko, B Vitamins, and siberian ginseng. That really helps you with the hangover protection and gives a great boost. Their awesome ingredients and great kick give one more reason to keep this aging superstar around.

Sugar Free Source Burn Energy Drink Review
The summer is the time when we all get sunburns. It hurts having those rays blister your face after a day on the wakeboard, but you suck it up and keep going. Sometimes you want something light and refreshing that will kick you up. A source of energy if you will. Something that will let you keep feeling the burn of the sun even though it aint healthy. You gotta live life though and not look back. Source Burn is my drink of choice for those hot days in the sun when you need a real boost, and now they have a sugar free version. SourceBurn Sugar Free comes in a small 8 oz. can that looks much like the original SourceBurn but it a paler yellow in color.
Sugar Free Source Burn comes out with an AMP like color. But the taste is all grapefruit flavor with a melony sweetness. It's not overly sweet like many diet drinks and has a medium tartness that sets it apart. It vaguely resembles the taste of Mello Yellow, but is better. To date I haven't tasted anything like this that is sugar free and it's very different from all the other sugar free/diet drinks with that classic energy drink flavors. This is a real winner in the SF category with a unique and refreshing flavor.
The ingredients are not as impressive as SourceBurю but are still strong. There's taurine, Vitamin C, acesulfame K, caffeine, guarana, Vitamin E, siberian ginseng, sucralose, B Vitamins, and Vitamin A. Pretty good and they do give you a load of energy. This and Diet Rockstar are fighting neck and neck on the energy front with Diet Rockstar possibly edging out Sugar Free SourceBurn due to the larger can size.

Red Bull Sugarfree Energy Drink Review
Pale blue must be a color that people who like diet go for because its all over the sugar free scene. You've got Monster Lo Carb, Sugar Free Jones and now Sugar Free Red Bull. There's a definitely color theme going on there. It's honestly been a long time since I've had a Red Bull since there are so many better energy drinks out there and I need more than the simple 8 oz. can to fuel the huge energy needs of my body. I'm like a freaking train man, I need fuel! So it was with some excitement that I picked up the slim 8 oz. can of Sugar Free Red Bull. It was like returning to a long friend after not seeing them for years. Then can has a huge resemblance to the original Red Bull but uses that pastel blue color. I'm honestly not a huge fan of that blue color, but I guess I'm not the diet market. An all red can from Red Bull would be so cool!
The color like Diet Rockstar is the classic energy drink but with a little more green flourescence just like the original Red Bull. If you poured them into adjacent cups I doubt you could tell the difference. Nostalgia. It's like a blast from the past when that can hits your mouth. You're flooded with memories of your first energy drink experience. That sour, very bitter, gummy, very artificial, medicine taste. Sure it's not the most pleasant but it awakens memories inside you and reminds you of how you first became obsessed with energy in spite of the taste. Sadly it also reminds me why I don't drink Red Bull anymore. It's just too gummy and medicinal for me. Stick with Monster Lo Carb or Diet Rockstar if you want something that goes for the classic energy drink flavor.
The Sugar Free Red Bull ingredients haven't aged well either. There's only taurine, glucuronolactone, caffeine, acesulfame K, inositol, and Vitamin B. The kick was decent but nothing like the other Sugar Free drinks I've tried to date. It's interesting that their only sweetner is AceK since its usually blended with another sweetner. Maybe doing that would help the taste of this old bull.

Lost Perfect 10 Energy Drink Review
Let's finish up our Sugar Free energy day with another revisit of a classic flavor. We take a look at Lost Perfect 10, Lost Enterprises analog to their classic Lost Energy Drink. I love the name of Perfect 10, which reflects the fact that there are only 10 calories per serving of this great drink. The can is the same as the original Lost drink but uses a blue logo instead of a Red one. I told you that pale blue was the color of diet energy drinks. The 16 oz. can is filled with crazy pictures so people will always check out your drink, making you feel proud. Again we see the classic energy drink color. Lost Perfect 10 also has that classic energy flavor, but it doesn't taste stale or dated it tastes really good. I can barely taste sugar free ingredients. It is sweet but its a reasonable sweetness without that mouth puckering artificial flavor. There's a nice bitter finish that helps mellow out the flavor. I can sense the tiniest bit of berry, very muted gumminess, and a rich pineapple and ginger spiciness. Lost has really out done themselves with Perfect 10, it is almost perfect for a diet drink. In all fairness this is not a sugar free drink. One of the first ingredients is glucose, but given that there is only 20 calories in a can there's just not that much sugar in here. The other ingredients are an impressive list with taurine, glucuronolactone, caffeine, inositol, sucralose, B Vitamins, l-carnitine, guarana, ginseng, and maltodextrin. I'd probably rank this below Sugar Free Jones but above Monster Lo Carb on my sugar free rankings list and its a good go to diet drink with a classic energy flavor.

Rumba Energy Juice Drink Review
I'm not real cultured but I think the Rumba is one of those Latin dances. I think it's supposed to be all sexy and stuff and requires a lot of energy. I'm not sure that qualifies Rumba as a good name for an energy drink, but Hansens ran with it anyway. The intriguing thing about Rumba is that it's a 100% juice. We've had some juicy beverages such as Monster Khaos and Rockstar Juiced, but nothing that is 100% juice. The can is the large 16 oz. variety with a big orange to showcase the fruit component of the drink. The blue stripes and Rumba wording are there to evoke the Rumba shaking dance moves. They don't really evoke anything for me but look okay if not a little loud.
Coming out of the can Rumba is a dark thick orange in color like apricot juice. The energy juice is totally opaque and the combination of consistency and color makes it scary looking. The taste is weird, it's like some jacked fruit blend that I've never tasted. I can pick out some peach and pear in there, and definitely some orange. It reminds me of baby food most in flavor or a little bit like apple sauce. There are definitely better juice like beverages out there and I would stick with Rockstar Juiced as my favorite one. This one had potential with a unique idea of 100% juice but just doesn't execute on it. It's not that it's bad, more weird. But hey if you like baby food, you'll probably love this drink.
The ingredients in Hansens style are pretty much solid, but are not spectacular. No HFCS is another bonus of this all natural drink. There's filtered water, juice (orange, apple, pear, peach, tangerine, pineapple, white grape), glucose, taurine, gum stabilizer, ginseng, Vitamin C, caffeine, B Vitamins, guarana, l-carnitine, glucuronolactone, inositol, beta carotene, sucralose, maltodextrin. The energy boost was pretty high and I think it just misses the top 10 buzzers, which is impressive for a juicy drink.

Battery Energy Drink Review
I originally tried Battery Energy Drink while on holiday in the South Pacific. At the time I really enjoyed the flavor, but wasn't sure if I was getting a variation of Battery Energy Drink or the real thing since Battery customizes their drink for the different markets. I finally managed to get my hands on the traditional Battery Energy Drink from Finland. First off, I love the 11 ounce (330 ml) can which looks like an oversized battery. The name Battery is great as well since it implies that the drink is storing energy like a real battery. Need energy? Just crack open the sleek looking drinking and the energy flows into you. That is my hope.
Battery Energy Drink starts off with nice tart flavors that hits you right out of the gate. It has a classic apple flavor, but overlays the taste with it a smooth raspberry tartness and edges of cranberry. The flavor balances the tartness perfectly with the sweetness to give a compelling flavor. It's an energy drink flavor that tickles the edges of your brain with its familiarity, but is so much better than the traditional Red Bull clone. I honestly had a difficult time stopping my consumption of Battery and actually drank a second can to get more when I was done with the first. A little bit of a root beer finish ends the flavor profile on a high note and never descends into a bad aftertaste or medicinal flavor.
When I first tried Battery Energy Drink I drank one of the taurine free varieies and it rocked my world. Now trying this one, I am feeling a whole different level of energy. This version of Battery took me over the moon! I was non-stop energy after drinking one of these. This was a very powerful and well done energy drink. I highly highly recommend Battery for an excellent kick. The key ingredients in here are sucrose, maltodextrin, taurine, coffee and guarana extracts 1333 mg of taurine, Ribofalvin, Niacin, Vit ʚ, Vitamin ᧔, and pantothenic acid. This Battery Energy Drink will definitely keep you going...
